The Ridge Project, Inc. is a Christian, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 2000 and dedicated to serving the youth and families of Ohio. Click here for a PDF overview of our organization.
The family has long been recognized as the building block of society, yet today faces more challenges than ever before. Skyrocketing divorce rates and infidelity, along with a general erosion of ethical standards in society are taking a significant toll on the American family. Children are at the greatest risk of being impacted and succumbing to these negative influences and carrying them on to future generations.
We offer a variety classes and activities specifically designed to empower youth, marriages and families so they can withstand and overcome these negative influences. All of our programs are relationship driven and designed to permanently impact the individuals we serve. We provide services through partnerships with churches, schools, and state and national agencies. Together with our partners, we served over 90,000 Ohio youth and families during fiscal year 2011 - 2012.
The RIDGE Project offers support to other like-minded organizations, and provides training to other family-oriented programs. Additionally, we strive to inform individuals, communities, the media and local and national policy makers of the importance of strong families.
Our outreach is founded on Jesus Christ and based upon biblical principles. We focus on reaching people where they are and training them to address the everyday challenges they face with honor, discipline and integrity.
We are driven by passion, grace, mercy, and understanding. Integrity is our call. We serve by example and desire to be ambassadors of hope to the hopeless.
Our call is to build what others have condemned, to love those whom others have hated, to offer peace where chaos has reigned, and to instill righteousness for generations to come.
Our Motto: Building a Legacy of Strong Families.
