It’s true. Your role as a father has the power to change the world. I’m not talking in clichés here, either. Your participation or nonparticipation in the role of fatherhood literally has the power to change the entire world. In fact, I would argue that it’s doing so right now, whether you realize it or not. You see, significant changes in the world don’t usually happen abruptly, all at once, or in one fell swoop. Most changes, especially those that have the potential to shift the direction that our country and world are headed, tend to happen over time. They take place one decision at a time, in an incremental fashion. They also affect one life at a time and are the result of a complex set of variables unique to each individual.
