February 15, 2013 - CDL Raffle/Online Service Auction
The RIDGE Project will be hosting their first ever Online Service Auction and CDL Raffle event. A key component of this event is a raffle for a complete CDL Training package.
The package, valued at around $4,500, will be raffled off by The RIDGE Project to raise funds for their workforce development programming. The raffle tickets will be sold to the general public with a drawing occurring as part of a larger Online Service Auction.
2,000 tickets will be sold at a cost of $2 each, and the winning ticket holder will receive the training package. The raffle and online service auction will be held at a later date once all of the tickets are sold. The tickets are not redeemable for the estimated cash value and can only be used towards the training package. Winner does not have to be present.
So, if you know someone who needs a secure job or is seeking a new career in trucking, here is a way to provide that opportunity to them and support the efforts of The RIDGE Project at the same time. What a great gift to provide someone you know the gift of a future with a job to support themselves and their family!
We will also hold a Online Service Auction at which local businesses and individuals that have donated various services will be auctioned off (such as music/sports lessons, lawn care, cooking, massage, barber/hairdresser services, manicures, deck building, etc.).
If you know of anyone who would be interested in participating in the CDL Raffle or willing to volunteer their services for the online auction, please contact our office at 419-278-0092. So whether you are a youth looking for a way to get involved, the wife of an incarcerated father in need of support, or a formerly incarcerated father looking for resources, we have a way for you to get connected.
