The Ohio Youth Congress

What is OYC?

OYC (Ohio Youth Congress) is a student leadership group designed to encourage, motivate, and inspire youth to be leaders.

OYC members meet once a month to stand up for who they are, what they believe, and have their voices be heard. Members focus on making positive life choices, avoid risky behaviors, and being a positive role model to their friends.

OYC membership not only looks great on college applications, but members of OYC have opportunities to give back to their peers, communities, and meet with state and national legislatures on issues that are important to them. Such opportunities include a field trip to Washington, D.C., with like-minded teens.
